General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between TaxiZara and its clients for all transport services offered via the taxihuy.be website.

2. Services Offered

TaxiZara offers the following services:

  • Classic Taxi: passenger transport for all types of trips (medical appointments, outings, events, etc.)
  • Airport Shuttle: transfers to and from Belgian and bordering airports
  • Express Delivery: fast transport of documents and parcels

3. Reservation

3.1. Reservation terms

Reservations can be made:

  • Via the online form on taxihuy.be
  • By phone at +32 492 220 330
  • By WhatsApp at +32 492 220 330

3.2. Required Information

For any reservation, the client must provide:

  • Full Name
  • Phone Number
  • Pickup Address
  • Destination Address
  • Desired Date and Time
  • Number of Passengers
  • Luggage information (if applicable)

3.3. Confirmation

The reservation is confirmed by TaxiZara by SMS, email, or phone. This confirmation constitutes acceptance of the order and a contractual commitment from both parties.

4. Rates and Payment

4.1. Pricing

Rates are established based on:

  • The trip distance
  • The pickup time (night/weekend supplements where applicable)
  • The type of service requested
  • The number of passengers

A free quote is provided before any reservation. The communicated price is a fixed price, with no surprises.

4.2. Payment Methods

Payment can be made:

  • In cash to the driver
  • By credit card (via Stripe)
  • By bank transfer (for advance reservations)

4.3. Payment Timing

Payment is made:

  • At the end of the trip for classic rides
  • At reservation or departure for airport shuttles
  • According to the modalities agreed upon for companies

5. Cancellation and Modification

5.1. By the Client

  • Free cancellation: up to 24 hours before the pickup time
  • Late cancellation (less than 24h): a cancellation fee of 50% of the amount may be applied
  • No-show: the total amount of the trip may be billed

5.2. By TaxiZara

TaxiZara reserves the right to cancel a reservation in case of force majeure (extreme weather conditions, major technical problem, etc.). In this case, the client will be notified as soon as possible and no fees will be billed.

6. Service Procedure

6.1. Pickup

  • The driver presents themselves at the agreed address and time
  • A free waiting time of 10 minutes is granted
  • Beyond that, waiting fees may be applied

6.2. Airport Shuttles

  • The driver follows the flight status in real time
  • In case of flight delay, the driver adapts their arrival time
  • A free waiting time of 45 minutes after landing is granted for arrivals

6.3. Luggage

Standard luggage transport is included in the price. For voluminous or large numbers of luggage, please report it during reservation.

7. Responsibilities

7.1. TaxiZara Responsibility

TaxiZara commits to:

  • Providing a clean, comfortable vehicle in good condition
  • Respecting the rules of the road and safety regulations
  • Ensuring professional and courteous service
  • Respecting agreed schedules as far as possible

7.2. Client Responsibility

The client commits to:

  • Providing accurate information during reservation
  • Being present at the agreed time and place
  • Respecting the vehicle and the driver
  • Not transporting illicit or dangerous substances

7.3. Lost Objects

TaxiZara declines all responsibility for objects forgotten in the vehicle. However, we commit to contacting the client if items are found.

8. Complaints

Any complaint must be addressed to TaxiZara within 48 hours following the trip:

We commit to processing your complaint as soon as possible.

9. Insurance

All TaxiZara vehicles are covered by professional civil liability insurance compliant with Belgian regulations regarding passenger transport.

10. Data Protection

The personal data collected are processed according to our Privacy Policy and the GDPR.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These GTC are governed by Belgian law. In case of dispute, the parties commit to searching for an amicable solution. Otherwise, the courts of Liège will have sole jurisdiction.

12. GTC Modification

TaxiZara reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time. The applicable conditions are those in effect on the date of the reservation.
